Hammanadata ("we," "us," "our") operates a web and mobile platform that lets users buy internet data bundles, VTU airtime, pay electricity bills, subscribe to TV services (DSTV, GOTV, StarTimes), and convert airtime to cash. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our platform, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account, funding your wallet, or otherwise using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

We do not store your full card number or banking PIN on our servers; sensitive payment credentials are handled directly by our licensed payment gateway providers in line with industry security standards.
We keep a record of your wallet balance and transaction history so that you can track your funding and purchases, and so we can resolve any disputes or failed transactions.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
Network providers and billers — such as MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9mobile, Alpha, DSTV, GOTV, StarTimes, and electricity distribution companies — as necessary to deliver the service you purchased
Payment processors and banks — to process wallet funding, card payments, and airtime-to-cash conversions

Regulators or law enforcement, where required by law, to prevent fraud, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and platform
5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should also protect your account by keeping your login details confidential and not sharing your password or OTPs with anyone.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards, to comply with legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or anonymise it.
7. Cookies & Tracking
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the site may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
